Why infrared here
A district or campus is a portfolio problem wearing a single owner. Buildings span decades of construction standards, budgets are annual and competitive, and the person deciding which roof gets money next year needs something better than the loudest complaint. Scanning the whole estate to one standard turns that into a ranked list — which roofs are wet and how badly, which panels are running hot, which buildings are losing the most heat through the envelope — and re-scanning on a cycle shows what is deteriorating rather than what is merely old.

How it is scheduled
Most of this work is scheduled into summer break. Roof flights still need their weather window, so booking early in the season matters more here than anywhere else.

Scanned energized and under normal operating load, because a de-energized panel hides the exact fault you are looking for.
Roofing & structure
Aerial thermal imaging maps saturated insulation so a repair can be targeted instead of the whole roof replaced.
