Why infrared here
On a production floor the failures that matter are the ones that stop throughput, and most of them announce themselves as heat first. A loose termination in a motor control center, a bearing beginning to gall, a drive running hotter than its neighbours on the same duty, a steam trap that has failed open — all of it is visible under load, without opening anything or shutting anything down. Scanning under normal production conditions is the entire point: a plant scanned during a shutdown produces an image that proves nothing.
What a survey covers
- Switchgear, MCCs, drives, disconnects and starters
- Motors, bearings, couplings and gearboxes under running load
- Steam traps, boilers, process piping and tank levels
- Compressed air and refrigeration plant
How it is scheduled
Findings are ranked against the production impact of the equipment, not just the temperature rise, so a work order queue can be built from the report directly.

Scanned energized and under normal operating load, because a de-energized panel hides the exact fault you are looking for.
Roofing & structure
Aerial thermal imaging maps saturated insulation so a repair can be targeted instead of the whole roof replaced.
